The Backstory

Virgin Active have locations all over the UK. They use a mix of technology and fitness experts to elevate the gym experience. Virgin contacted Open Ear to focus specifically on their V-Cycle Classes, employing us to create an App for their instructors to use in-class.

What We Did

We worked with the Virgin development team to design and integrate our Player app within their framework connecting music, lighting and visuals. We built an API to provide them with songs and gave them tools so instructors could develop classes in advance and then control the music being played in real time.

We continue to work directly with the instructors to ensure they music tastes are catered for, so they can ensure their playlists are always fresh.
