Slugs of Love Little Dragon

The latest from Little Dragon is a vibrant Pop album that finds them in the mood to groove. There’s bright Electro on ‘Stay’ featuring a vocal turn by rapper JID, a slow, late night House influenced R&B jam on ‘Frisco’, while ‘Kenneth’ draws on Acid Jazz and Electronica for a throwback sound straight out of the mid-90s. For such big-time collaborators, having worked with Kaytranada, SBTRKT, Gorillaz and more, it's a small surprise that there’s only one other guest spot on their own album when Damon Albarn joins them on ‘Glow’. The title track is the high point and a true earworm, rolling on a New Wave bass groove that delivers a joyful slice of Indie Electro Pop with a delightful middle eight break.
