An impressive cast of remixers get their hands on an album we already liked a lot. Like the source material, the spring in the step of the Perfume Genius sound remains, augmented this time round by some club-ready tunes we hope to hear spinning before the summer is out. The Danny L Harle remix of ‘Just a Touch’ unsurprisingly takes a relatively low key track and injects it with a healthy dose of chaos but the standout is the Planningtorock mix of ‘Jason’.

Previously a luscious album highlight, this version repurposes the vocals into a less wistful but no less emotive take while Big Beat inspired percussion and synth swells take a more focused approach to instrumentation.
