Takeaway music: how Open Ear is innovating brand experience in the face of adversity

As restaurants and other businesses ramp up home delivery, Open Ear is working with with several of our clients to help bring the brand experience into the home setting. Using our Connect technology, we can design a unique QR code that links to a playlist highlighting your brand's signature songs, which will be perfect listening during the takeaway meal.

Case Study - Pizza Punks

With sites across Scotland introduced this by printing the QR code on their pizza boxes. As soon as the pizza is delivered, customers scan the code and then start playing the playlist.

Case Study - Wahaca

We’re working closely with Wahca to introduce music to their socials and digital comms. Starting with a specially curated brand playlist by our very own Mexican curator Oscar Arroyo, which will accompany a series of home cooking videos, run by founder Thomasina Miers.

The playlist allows Wahaca to export their restaurant experience into the home, helping customer learn about Mexican and Latin American music in the process.

Case Study - Hotpod

We all need to excercise at home and Hotpod will be running a series of live yoga classes streamed from one of their locations. Music is a core part of the Hot Pod experience, and so we’ve made the Hot Pod Sounds app that we build for instructors available to everyone, so you can now listen to brilliant music during your home yoga session.

Let us know if you'd like to discuss options for your venue. If QR codes aren’t your thing, there are still plenty of ways to let your customers re-create your vibe at home.
