Disco may be the perfect dancefloor focused music to release in the middle of a pandemic. Filled as much with nostalgia and love for communality, Jessie Ware’s latest is a perfect capsule of the genre. Elegant and fizzing with wanderlust, it hints at Italy and Electro and features mellower moments like the warm House track ‘Adore You’ produced by Metronomy’s Joseph Mount. It’s one of the best here, though the funky Bass and lustful multi tracked vocals of ‘Oh La La’ may be a highlight of this long, strange summer.
