Life In Colour Andreya Triana

Nearly a decade after her Bonobo-produced debut, Andreya Triana’s latest release is an assertive statement of self-empowerment. Filled with soulful Pop, ‘Life In Colour’ is a bright, uptempo collection that leans heavily on Triana’s vocals to lead from the front.

Tracks like ‘Beautiful People’ and opener ‘Women’ keep the energy up with short verses and slick transitions, but the finer moments come in more stripped back moments. ‘I’m Already Home’ barely builds on minimal picked guitar and a sturdy bass beat allowing Triana’s vocals room to craft a strong narrative, while ‘How Deep My Love Goes’ is a soulful piano ballad wrought with emotion.
