Over the last 15 years, we’ve built an extensive client base across multiple industries, also specialising in music curation for bars and restaurants.

NWTC are a renowned pub and bar group and one of the fastest-growing businesses in the UK*, known for their excellence when it comes to dining, drinking, and entertainment.


When visiting any of the NWTC venues across the country, customers have the opportunity to enjoy an extensive choice of world-famous beers and ales, handcrafted cocktails, plus a food menu that combines classic and contemporary cuisine.

Music is also at the core of what NWTC are about, with live music and DJs across all their sites every week. What about the rest of the day? That’s when Open Ear gets involved.


Our team of music curators has been working closely with NWTC’s management to develop music identities and bespoke playlists for each of their brands (including award-winning renowned restaurants and bars like The Botanist, The Florist, and The Oast House), looking to launch this collaboration in time for the festive period.

All the playlists Open Ear provide for NWTC are bespoke, meaning our in-house music experts have handpicked each track to enhance the space and graduate the energy over the course of the day and week, in line with trading patterns.


Our music selection includes a mix of fresh tracks from recognisable artists, alongside new releases from stars of the future - tapping into multiple genres, from chart pop and indie rock to electronica and funk classics.
