De Todas Las Flores Natalia Lafourcade

The first album in seven years from Natalia Lafourcade finds the Grammy winner return with a deeply affecting collection of tracks grounded in acoustic guitar and orchestration. Produced by Adán Jodorowsky, the instrumentation is rich throughout though the focus is rarely pulled from Lafourcade’s gripping vocals.

Drawing on a range of Latin influences, ‘De Todas Las Flores’ is expertly paced from initial ballads to more lively tracks like the Cumbia of ’María la Curandera’ in the second half.

The crossover point between the two halves comes with the smooth Bossa Nova tinged ‘El lugar correcto’ while the album highlight is the swinging ‘Mi manera de querer’ driven by Lafourcade’s timeless, emotive vocals.
