Muna Muna

Released from their major label deal and unsure of their direction as the pandemic took hold,Muna signed to Phoebe Bridgers’ Saddest Factory Records for this, their third release. Rejuvenated, the trio deliver a considered but joyful collection of Indie Synth Pop with deviations into Country balladry on ‘Kind of Girl’ and opener ‘Silk Chiffon’, which features vocals from Bridgers. A celebration of living life as your authentic self, the uplifting lyrics are thoughtful and often introspective, while the musical backing is founded on solid percussion and propulsive synths and guitar. Filled with the sound of liberation, personal and creatively, Muna have dropped a slice of Indie Pop guaranteed to usher in better days for all.
