Mirrors DJ Seinfeld

Sunnier, brighter and filled with a greater sense of joy than his Lo-Fi House debut, the latest from DJ Seinfeld showcases the impact of touring some of the world’s biggest and brightest parties as well as a more settled outlook on life. Filled with cheery synth melodies and sprightly beats, ‘Mirrors’ is celebratory but retains a contemplative edge. Opener ‘She Loves Me’ finds Stella Explorer repeating the title as mantra over a skittering two-step beat with each repetition eking out happiness and semi-disbelief, ‘Home Calling’ meanwhile acts as a mid-album moment of ambient calm. Closing track ‘Song For The Lonely’ starts on a slow build before the main kick comes in to begin to propel a meditative excursion into an arms aloft, feel-good floor filler. It’s a highlight we expect to hear frequently as dance floors begin to fill again.
