Man Made Greentea Peng

Recorded at a 432Hz frequency, allegedly channelling calming, healing vibrations in comparison to the industry standard 440Hz, Greentea Peng’s debut sets out to relax, educate and connect. Weaving Neo Soul, Dub and contemporary UK Jazz with psychedelia, ‘Man Made’ blossoms with rhythm and grooves while Aria Wells’ vocals ring encouragement, empathy and humble optimism.

While the vibe is chilled it’s never loose. Instead the skits, interludes and freestyles feel crafted and considered and are richer for it. Whether locking in to the bass on ‘Poor Man Skit’ or being captured by the Eddie Hazel channelling fuzz guitar on ‘Maya’, admiring the detail of ‘Man Made’ is an easy task.
