Blue Weekend Wolf Alice

Having spent the better part of a locked down year refining an album that was almost complete, Wolf Alice show with their third album, ‘Blue Weekend’, that the time hasn’t gone to waste. Widescreen and epic whether on an acoustic ballad or a full on festival mainstage Indie rocker, Wolf Alice have made a leap for the big stage and deliver time and again.

Packed with joyful choruses and witty tidbits in the verses, ‘Blue Weekend’ is packed with emotion of all types. ‘Smile’ stands out with its rapped vocals and distorted post-Grunge punky rock guitar riffs while ‘Play The Greatest Hits’ goes Riot Grrl Grunge. Produced by Marcus Dravs who has worked with Coldplay and Arcade Fire, this expansive album may well be on several AOTY lists come year end.
