The first non-self released album from Alfa Mist expands on his sonic palette as he continues to translate his Hip Hop upbringing into multi-instrumental Jazz. Driven primarily by his own playing on keys that shimmer with synthesized and organic tones, we’re treated to horns and guitar leads as well as stirring spoken vocals.

The overall vibe is gentle and approachable, cool but never posed. In no way a lounge album, the livelier tracks have a purposeful bustle rather than a forceful hustle. ‘Last Card’ is a perfect example, and album highlight, as it closes with a groove and vamp that standout above all else as horns, bass and keys interplay.
