A cocooning listen of alternating English and Korean vocals that starts abstractly before slowly developing a Hip Hop flavoured stride, ‘What We Drew’ is intimate yet other-worldly. Domestic tasks centre the vocal to ‘Waking Up Down’ while bubbling synths and Electro kicks elevate the track to a higher level. Track to track ‘What We Drew’ is paced perfectly and this programming is what lifts this album to one of the finest of the year so far.
