Dance Without Me DRAMA

Coupling House and R&B, ‘Dance Without Me’ is an album for the lovelorn with a fire still burning in their soul. Contemplative rather than heartbroken, the tone is warm and affectionate as love in various states of disrepair play out through each track. Solid kicks, subtle instrumentation, and deep bass underscore each track, while Via Rosa’s lyrics take central stage. While robust bass and percussion remain steady in the background, sparing, resonant and loungy piano chords provide texture to ‘Forever and a Day’. Lyrically, it’s a beautiful exposition on the meaning of ‘forever’ and the self-doubt so many of us encounter each day. Take some time with ‘Dance Without Me’, it’s good for the soul.
