Open Ear partners with Julian Treasure's The Sound Agency

Open Ear are very pleased to officially announce our partnership with Julian Treasure and The Sound Agency.

Julian Treasure is the chair of the Sound Agency, a firm that advises worldwide businesses -- offices, retailers, airports -- on how to design sound in their physical spaces and communication. He asks us to pay attention to the sounds that surround us. How do they make us feel: productive, stressed, energized, acquisitive?

Julian is the author of the book Sound Business, a manual for effective sound use in every aspect of the business. His most recent book, How to be Heard: Secrets for Powerful Speaking and Listening, offers practical exercises to improve communication skills and an inspiring vision for a sonorous world of effective speaking, conscious listening and understanding. His TED talks 'How to speak so that people want to listen' is in the top ten TED talks of all time.

Julian selected Open Ear to partner with TSA ahead of other music companies operating in the b2b market. He heard our playlists in a small Edinburgh cafe and immediately recognised the quality of an Open Ear playlist compared to the competition. He commended us for the quality of sound on the Open Ear Player, the ease and flexibility of its use and its ability to harness the psychological power of music in real-time using Energy Slider and Other functions.
