Case Study | Art of Sound at The Royal Academy

Earlier this year London's esteemed Royal Academy asked us to curate a DJ series for their The Academicians' Room, a uniquely intimate space that allows artists and DJs the opportunity to build an incredible atmosphere over the course of a night.

We asked some of our favourite DJs, from a variety of backgrounds, to dig a little deeper into their collections for those tracks that they might not normally have the opportunity to play, and to come down for this series of one-off club nights in this beautiful space. Throughout the autumn DJs like Bill Brewster, Auntie Flo, Anton Spice (Vinyl Factory) and Mafalda took over the Academicians’ Room, sharing their personal favourites as well as the hidden gems they’ve discovered on their musical journeys.

These events are free to members of the Academicians’ Room, Friends of the Royal Academy and the general public.

The last two in this series:
Sophie Callis 10th Nov John Gomez 17th Nov
